We continue down to the river, meanwhile - Andrew is encouraging all of us to take a turn to read & breathe into the moment around us with the exhales of deeper meaning.
We’ve arrived at the river, and a few of us strip down to jump in a small watering hole that naturally formed along the bank. The rest of us strip down the cages around our spirits and share with eachother. Some recited with words and some spoke with dance, song, stories.
At this point in time,
I hadn’t even hear any of Andrew’s music. A week later I went to his album release in Baltimore. Fuckin here for it.
It’s a gift to realize how important it is to have those kind of people like Drew smash into your reality.
To wake up and revive the dead parts of us that bring us closer together. Now, without somebody like AWALL, I'm not sure if I'd be as happy and motivated and optimistic as I am today.
Thanks for teaching me that Dreaming is better done while we’re awake. And for being a friend, top tier listener, and the one who reminded me to never lose the drive to seek a higher version of ourselves.
